2. Rental Terms & Insurance Conditions

2.1 Third Party Liability (TPL)

TPL is the mandatory liability insurance for accidents caused by the renter.

  • If an accident is caused by the renter, the insurance company will pay for repairs to the damaged third party.

  • If extended insurance (CDW, SCDW, FDW) is absent, the repair of the rented car is fully paid by the renter.

  • If the renter is not the responsible party, the damage to the vehicle will be covered by the guilty party’s insurance company.

2.2 Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.)

The renter’s responsibility for any damage to the vehicle is minimized to a maximum excess of __________ Euro, provided the renter accepts the conditions by signature and pays the additional daily fee according to the current Holiday Wheels Kos tariff.

  • Note: This is a subsidiary agreement to the main rental contract and must be signed by both the renter and the Holiday Wheels Kos representative.

  • Exclusions: Insurance does not cover tires, wheels, or damages to the underside of the car caused by carelessness, bad driving, or driving on unpaved/non-asphalt roads.

2.3 Theft Protection (T.P.)

In case of car theft, the customer’s financial responsibility may be waived/reduced to __________ Euro, provided the renter accepts the relevant conditions by signature and pays the daily tariff. Negligence (e.g., leaving the keys in the car) will void this protection.

2.4 Personal Accident Coverage (P.A.C.)

By initiating this agreement, the customer agrees to pay an additional daily fee in accordance with the current Holiday Wheels Kos tariff. This grants acceptance of the terms of the open personal accident policy arranged by the lessor for its clients. A summary of coverage is available in our special leaflet at our Kefalos office.
